Desperado Declares
The weather for our April shoot was absolutely beautiful. We had a good turnout of shooters. I thought we would have a few more because of the great weather. I think a lot of our wallets were a little light after Uncle Sam got through with us on April 15th. We all know that reloading components are scarce and they’re not getting any cheaper.
It was a pleasant surprise to see Doc Holiday show up to shoot with us. He also brought Sidewinder (SASS #26) along. Raven Moon brought Glenlivit to shoot his first Cowboy Action match and he shot well. Glenlivit also brought his son Joel with him. Joel was nice enough to pick up brass all day for posse #4.
In keeping with the Cowboy way, posse 4 took up a collection and paid him for his efforts. After the match they set him up with the right stuff and let him shoot a stage. By all reports Joel's a natural. Do ya think he was a happy young man?
