Desperado Declares

The 16th annual Great Northfield Raid is in the history books. With the wind, fire and road closures it was a wild three days.
The Northfield Raiders were communicating with the Fire Dept. and other agencies most of Friday night in the interest of safety. The Fire Dept. knew we were there.
There were quite a few shooters who just couldn't get there on Saturday because of the closed freeways but several were able to get to the range on Sunday (do ya think they really wanted to shoot at our match?) We figured a way to get them through all twelve stages on Sunday.
After all of that, we received many complements on another great match. We had a lot of action on our silent auction. Many happy bidders went home with some neat stuff.
Thanks to Wylee-One and Johnny Mack Brown for the donations to the auction and to Loose Latigo for the donation of one of his beautiful hand crafted long gun covers.
As usual the competition was fierce and there were a lot of close scores. Speaking of scores, we did have a couple of screw ups. After receiving a phone call and a few e-mails The Prez and I went up to the Northfield Bank Tuesday night and reviewed the raw score sheets from the stages and the computer entries. We found the mistakes and made the corrections. The revised scores are on our web site. Please accept our apologies.
Hope ya can be with us next time.
