Desperado Declares

Yep, it was hot, however, we had a good show of brave shooters who came out and shot in the 100 deg. weather with us. We divided into three posse's and had at it. The stages were fun and challenging. Ruby Rain shot her first clean match and she was one happy Lady. Her husband Timber Dan said he was going to have a long ride home.

Lead D'Spencer did not have his best day of shooting.  First of all, he said that he had forgotten to bring his pistols and wanted me to ask if anyone had a pair of stainless steel Vaqueros in .38 caliber that he could borrow. He ended up using Holster Holliday's pistols.

Holster Holliday did not have to share them for very long.  The next thing we knew, Lead had three long guns apart and didn't get any of them back together, it was a parts problem.

I was sorry to hear that Phantom shot his last match at Panorama for a while.  He's moving to Texas next month. He has always been a great competitor and a hell of a nice man. The best of luck to you and yours Phantom.

The top five shooters overall were,  Dead Eye Maverick, Cross Creek, Phantom, Swift Swede and 1st place was Tex Fiddler.

That's all for now folk's, I have to get my skinny butt to the garage and reload for the Ambush at Mill Creek.

Hope to see ya all next time.
