We had light rain Saturday night as advertised, but Sunday morning was clear and dry. D.Trader helped me get the wet firewood burning and we had a good fire to help keep us warm. There was a nice turn out of shooters even though some are still recovering from Winter Range. The stages were fun, although we did have an unusual amount of "P's". |

I was shooting with posse 5 and when we were up on range 5 we heard a big uproar from posse 4 shooting next to us, Tex Fiddler dropped an unloaded pistol! I talked to Tex after the match and he explained what happened, apparently his holster spit the pistol back out.

On a sad note, Mild Bill Hiccup (Dale Constantine) former head of Panorama’s Cowboy Program and until recently our scorekeeper, passed away on Monday March 10th in St. George, Utah. The last time we saw him, he had changed his Cowboy Handle to Lazarus. Even though he was connected to an external heart machine, he still shot the match. We were hopeful, when he got a heart transplant, that he’d be back shooting with us, but after a long battle, he just didn’t make it. Dale was a hard working, dedicated and generous member of our club and will be sorely missed. |
