We lucked out and the weather gods let us beat the rain by a day. Our Sunday match was clear and dry. It was a little on the cold side and I got the fire going a little before 7:00 am. Most of the pre-shoot lie swap'en was conducted around the fire. However, when the sun comes up over that East mountain, things warmed up nicely. |

Many of our long time friends who we haven't seen for a while came out to shoot with us and it was good to see them. One of our favorite Lady shooters, Dixie Bell, celebrated her birthday shooting with us. She's a heck of a good shooter, so I wasn't about to ask how old she was. As usual the competition was hot and heavy. Swifty Swede slid by Phantom for 1st overall by 0.01 sec! Buffalo Sam Peed got Latin Gun by 0.56 sec. Ignatius Guns beat out Brushwacker by 1.14 sec. Bronco Lane squeaked by Billy Bob by 0.36 sec. Saw-Yer Wood finished faster than Timber Dan by 0.36 sec. And the beat goes on. Hope to see ya all next time. |
