We all knew that Sunday August 19th was going to be hot, and it was, however we lucked out and it was overcast for a couple of hours after the match started. We had a fair turnout of hardy shooters for a hot day.

Long Swede shot with us for the first time and won his category and the match. It was good to see him at Panorama.

South Park S.A.M. brought his Grandson, Cannonball Cooper to shoot with us.  Cannonball is visiting him from Washington State.  South Park introduced us and we all shot on the same posse. Everyone was impressed.  He is one fine young man and a heck of a good shooter. The shooting sports need more young men like Cannonball Copper and we sure hope he comes back to shoot with us again.

Talk about dedication, Tex Fiddler and Wild Bird celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, in part by shooting the match earlier in the day.  They left when the shooting was finished. We don't have a clue as to where they went or what they did.  Congratulations to both of you from all of us.

Lazarus, formally known as Mild Bill Hiccup, received a donor heart last Friday and by all reports is doing fine. Cowboy prayers work !!

Again, the shooting competition was fierce. How fierce?  Mr. Wood finished faster than Top Notch by 0.24 sec., Wylee-One finished ahead of St. Joes Sheriff by 0.03 sec., Medicine Woman Wiki beat out Longarm by 0.85 sec., Gun Hawk got Doc Flimshaw by 0.25 sec., Polly Penny Bright edged out South Park S.A.M. by 0.08 sec.  That’s mighty fierce!

Hope to see ya all next time.
