Sunday’s weather was just about perfect for shooting (most weather is) and we had a good fun-filled match, shooting with our friends. Wild Bird did a good job designing the stages. We had some category snafus, a couple of the guys were entered in the wrong category because of what they were entered in last month. The sign up gals need to be told if you make a change. One of the problems was our fault, sorry about that. Things worked out anyway, the times remain the same and the corrections were made before the scores were posted on line. |

Tex Fiddler won the match with a final time of 184.78. With all the uproar about the category thing, I clean forgot to read the overall results. Of course the only person to mention that was Tex. Gee Tex, just because you beat Swifty! Wylee-One edged out Phantom by 0.11 sec. and Cold Iron Charly got Swifty Swede by 0.15 sec. White Bart finished ahead of South Park Sam by 0.36 sec. Gottlos was quicker than St. Joes Sheriff by 0.62 sec., but St. Joes Sheriff was quicker than Chuckwagon Jim by 0.63 sec. and Missouri Reb finished 0.12 sec. faster than Col. Fudd. Is there some serious competition going on or what? Lusty Lil was our top Lady shooter (again). As you all known, we've been selling raffle tickets for the last few months and we held the drawing earlier this month. The winner of the 3rd prize, a $100 gift certificate for Cabela's was our good friend White Bart. The 1st place prize, an all expense paid trip to Cabo San Lucas was won by one of our score keepers. Desire' Gonzalez. Congratulations to both of you. Ignatius Gun’s grandson is going in the right direction, he's slowly getting better, week by week, step by step and definitely still needs our Cowboy prayers. Mild Bill Hiccup has been out of the hospital for a few weeks and is recovering at home with the help of his friends and neighbors in St. George, Utah. I'm sure he can still use our prayers. Lead D'Spencer is doing well and should be back in a few months. That young man can always use a prayer. Hope to see ya all next time. |
