Desperado Declares We finally got a break in the weather; it stayed fairly cool until about noon and didn't get above 90. The shooting was hot and heavy as usual. I mentioned a new young shooter a few months ago who we loaned guns and ammo to and let him shoot our last stage, with the permission of his Dad, of course, and I told you that he cleaned the stage.

Well he's back with his own equipment and lessons from Lefty Longridge. This young man is fast, not all that accurate, but he doesn't care about that just yet, the only question he has when he's finished with a stage is "what was my time?" Watch out guys, Holster Holliday is going to be a major contender real soon. Don't forget to sign up for our 14th annual Great Northfield Raid, November 17th, 18th and 19th. You can pick up an entry form at most of the shoots or sign up on line.  It was good to have our old friends shooting with us and having fun, that's what it’s all about. Hope to see ya all next time.
