Desperado Declares

We had a fair turnout for a hot July day of 104 degrees.  Our die-hard friends will come out and shoot with us no matter what the weather brings and we always have a good time shooting together. A half dozen of our ol' friends that we haven't seen for a while were there along with another half dozen first time shooters. 

Somehow all of the new shooters ended up on the same pose and that slowed things down a bit.  We've never let that happen before, but hey, it was a hot morning.  After they completed the stages on range two and three, we suggested that the pose split in half and when they went up to range four and five they did just that.  When pose five was finished shooting, four of us went up there and helped run the pose, so all they had to do was shoot.  Splitting the posse and the extra help sped things up and posse three and four finished at about the same time.  Thanks to Polly Penny Bright and Chickamauga Charlie for helping us out.   Thanks also to Frito Bandito for helping out in the posse-leading department.

Our half finished patio cover helped quite a bit to shade us from the sun during lunch, just wait until it's completed!!
