Desperado Declares

The weather Gods finally gave us a break last Sunday. Mariah stopped playing havoc with us late Saturday afternoon. Sunday was calm, clear and beautiful.

We had about 30 Boy Scouts that camped out on our range through the weekend.  Many of them earned badges in rifle shooting on Saturday, thanks to the help of good people like Ron Bravo, Mild Bill Hiccup, T.R. (General Pierce), Goldenruel, and other Panorama members. The event was organized by the lady who heads up our youth program, Amanda McDaniel, A.K.A. Miss Amanda. A large group of Scouts hung out on Sunday to watch the Cowboy action shooting, and were impressed. by Shooters like Ivory Jack McCloud and others who gave them history lessons on the firearms of the old West and the finer points of Cowboy Action Shooting.

Several of our long-time friends showed up who haven't shot with us in a while.  They made the competition even more fast and furious. We’re glad to see them again.

I had a pleasant surprise Sunday morning when Sunset Beauty informed me that she and Social Bandit of D.S. Welding wanted to donate a new steel cowboy target to Northfield. We thank them very much.

Well, another year has come and gone. I want to thank our Cowboy committee, our cook shack crew, our shooter sign-up crew, our board of directors and the rest of the dedicated Panorama members for all their work.  Most importantly, we thank you guys and gals, the shooters who have supported us throughout the years.

All of us at Panorama want to wish you all…

A Happy Holiday season
and a prosperous & Happy New Year.

Hope to see ya all next time.

Thanks to the people that donated door prizes.

Texas Yellow Rose, Jan Alterman (Mrs. Fargo Ed), Philadelphia Fred, Irish Eyes, Buckeye Flats, K.C.U.S. Marshal, Mild Bill Hiccup, J.J.Johnson, James Barranti and Mark Cohen.
