Desperado Declares

The 12th Annual Great Northfield Raid was, judging from all the laughter and smiling faces, a great match.  The weather Gods did play with us a bit but I guess they’re entitled to their fun too.  We went from clear and warm to pouring deluge. Sunday morning was iffy but there was a break in the rain a little after 8 AM and I made the decision to continue the match and shoot the last four stages. All of the posses had shot one or two stages when it started to rain in earnest.  By golly, almost everybody hung in and completed the match. In fact, most of the shooters, including me, had more fun shooting in the rain.  The rain stopped and the sun came out just in time for lunch, our awards ceremony and the raffle. Like we've said before, Cowboy Action Shooters are a hardy bunch.

All of The Northfield Raiders would like to thank each of you for supporting our efforts and sharing the Twelfth Annual Great Northfield Raid with us.
