Desperado Declares

Summer is back, and, yeah, it was hot at our July match, but Cowboy Action shooters are tough and they showed up to shoot. I asked our stage designers Tex fiddler, Wild Bird, and Leadgiver if they could speed the stages up a little during the summer months, and they did a great job of it in July. One of the shooters I talked to thought we should use all of the guns on all stages, even during the hot summer months, and I understand his point of view. We have a lot people that work hard to help put on our matches and I think lots of shooters who would like to finish a little earlier during the hot weather. If you think I'm wrong, let me or one of our other Northfield Raiders know.  It’s our aim to make our shooters happy with what we do.
Hope to see ya all next time.

Here’s how it’s done

Not everyone can start out as young as Noah Provenzano who was featured in last month’s gazette.  But we’re doing all we can to encourage and train young people to take up the shooting sports.

To that end, our own Bodie-601 will be giving a demonstration and introduction to Single Action Shooting on Panorama’s Youth Day for Boy Scouts and other interested young folks.  It’ll happen right here in Northfield on Saturday, July, 31st.  If you want to know more about it, contact: Amanda McDaniel at: (818) 772-8251 or by email at: <AMcdaniel@uniworld.com>
